Client Case Study 2 Co-design project to support the design of a Children's Rehabilitation Centre, Barwon Health
Challenge: Support a team of clinicians to gather insights from children and their families to inform the architectural design and build of a Children's Rehabilitation Centre in the Geelong Region.
Solution: We designed a HCD capability program that was delivered to the team of clinicians, supporting them with the engagement with children and families to determine their wants, needs and pain points for the future rehabilitation centre. We worked through the process together, with them learning the skills, applying them and being supported and guided throughout.
Results: A series of face to face learning modules, co-design workshops with children and families, ongoing engagement and sharing of outputs as they emerged, and a final report detailing all findings and outcomes. This co-design approach was truly embraced by the team and went on to deeply inform the architectural design and build of the new Children's Rehabilitation centre. Please see video case study below.
